Ginny
I’m a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, founder of Nutrition Intuition, and a lifelong Central Illinois girl. I’m a mom of four, now busy raising my own kids in the same Central Illinois community that raised me. This area has always been home, and I’m incredibly proud to build my practice and care for people right here in the community I love.
I’m genuinely in love with what I do—and a lot of that comes from my own journey with food and body image.
Growing up, I believed I was “too big” and never quite thin enough. Like so many of us, I internalized the message that smaller was better, thinner meant healthier, and food was something to control.
As a young adult, that turned into restriction, overexercising, diet pills, and a constant pursuit of doing everything “right.” In fact, part of the reason I chose nutrition was because I thought that if I knew enough about food, I could finally control my body.
Instead, studying nutrition eventually taught me something much more valuable: how to trust it.
Over the years, my education, professional experience, and personal growth completely changed the way I think about nutrition and health. I discovered intuitive eating, weight-inclusive care, and the freedom that comes from realizing that health is so much bigger than a number on the scale.
That journey is a huge part of why I founded Nutrition Intuition.
I want people to experience nutrition care differently—to feel heard instead of judged, supported instead of lectured, and empowered rather than handed another list of rules.
I believe nutrition should work in your real life. There is room for evidence-based nutrition and your favorite foods. There is room for health goals and flexibility. And there is absolutely room for joy.
More than anything, I want to be the kind of provider you feel is truly in your corner.

I’m a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist who believes that improving your health doesn’t require perfection. My approach is supportive, practical, and judgment-free, with a focus on helping you make meaningful changes that feel realistic for your life.
I became a registered and licensed dietitian in 2020 and
began my career in the hospital setting, providing individualized nutrition care for people with a wide variety of health conditions. I’ve also had the opportunity to provide nutrition education through assisted living communities, cardiac rehabilitation, and diabetes support groups.
My experience later expanded into health coaching, where I developed an even greater appreciation for looking beyond food alone. I recognize that stress, sleep, movement, environment, and your relationship with food can all play an important role in your health. I take time to listen, understand what matters most to you, and work together to create an approach that fits your individual needs and lifestyle.
I especially enjoy supporting clients with diabetes and prediabetes, heart health, high blood pressure and cholesterol, women’s health, emotional eating, healthy aging, weight concerns, and those using GLP-1 or other weight-management medications.
My goal is for you to leave our sessions feeling supported, capable, and more confident in your ability to care for yourself—not overwhelmed by a list of things you “should” be doing.
Outside of work, I enjoy reading, native flower gardening, walking my dog, playing slow-pitch softball, and coaching high school softball.
